We the undersigned petition the Prime Minister to order the Commission for Local Administration (Local Government Ombudsmen) to conduct a fully independent survey.

During their recent 2007 stakeholder satisfaction survey, Local Government Ombudsmen excluded a large number of stakeholders from the survey sample group to increase perceived stakeholder satisfaction with their service. As a result stakeholders have now lost all confidence in the Local Government Ombudsman's ability to conduct an unbiased survey or produce accurate statistics without government intervention.
